Plant Tissue

Plant tissues are like different teams in a plant, each doing specific jobs. There are three main types of plant tissues:

1- Dermal Tissue

ย This is like the plant’s skin, protecting it from harm and controlling what goes in and out. It includes the outermost layer, called the epidermis.

2- Ground Tissue

ย Imagine this as the plant’s main work area. It stores energy, makes food through photosynthesis, and supports the plant’s structure. Ground tissue fills the plant’s interior.

3- Vascular Tissue

Think of this as the plant’s transportation system. It helps move water, nutrients, and food around. Vascular tissue consists of two parts: xylem (for water) and phloem (for food).

These three types of tissues work together to keep the plant healthy and functioning properly.
