About Lesson

🌲Plant Kingdom🌲

  • Plants are different from animals in such a way that they are rooted in one place and they use spores or seeds for reproduction.
  • They also make their own food using carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight, with the help of chlorophyll, which is in their leaves, in a process called photosynthesis.
  • All the plants on the earth make up a kingdom called the plant kingdom.
  • Plants are divided into two main groups, those that have flowers are called flowering plants, and others without flowers are called non-flowering plants.
