Step I: Basic Assessment

1. English Proficiency Test:
   • Upon accessing the registration portal, applicants begin with an English proficiency test. This test comprises multiple-choice questions and listening components.
   • The test evaluates grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and listening skills. Questions range from identifying grammatical errors to comprehending passages and responding to prompts.
2. Cognitive and Computational Assessment:
   • After completing the English proficiency test, applicants proceed to the cognitive and computational assessments.
   • This section involves problem-solving scenarios, logical reasoning puzzles, and computational challenges. It assesses adaptability, critical thinking, and basic computational skills needed in modern educational settings.
3. Pedagogical Content Knowledge Test:
   • Following the cognitive assessment, applicants encounter the pedagogical content knowledge test.
   • This test focuses on the applicant’s expertise in their chosen subject area and teaching methodologies. It includes subject-specific questions, teaching scenarios, and strategies for effective instruction.
4. Submission and Review:
   • After completing the assessments, applicants proceed to submit their results along with other necessary documents via a Google Form.
   • This form typically requires applicants to upload screenshots or documents showcasing their results from the English proficiency test and cognitive and computational assessment, along with other requested materials such as CVs, certifications, or educational background information.
   • EduQode’s evaluation team reviews these submissions comprehensively, assessing not only the test scores but also considering the overall suitability of the applicant for the organisation’s educational mission.
5. Registration Confirmation:
   • Successful applicants receive confirmation of their registration.
   • They gain access to EduQode’s educational platform, resources, and opportunities to connect with students and other educators.
